Here is the thing, if you are still feeling so worried or gross or pushy or icky for selling, then you are not embodying the emotional maturity of a leader who gets paid for what she does.

The very first thing I need you to know is that you cannot carry this fear and grossness of selling and sign clients. So I want you to leave it behind today. Here's what I need you to know:

You like to be sold to. You like to go to Starbucks and get the pumpkin spice latte. You like to go to Target and buy whatever. You like to go to, I don't freaking know what your store is. whether you like to see a new handbag from some designer company, or you like to go to like Tractor Supply Co. and see like little baby chicks, you like to be sold to because you love to buy. You love to buy. You love to shop.

Maybe you have trauma around releasing the money, but like you like to purchase things. And every time you purchase things, it is through being sold to.

Your people feel the same way when you are selling when you are boldly selling. When you're selling with a level of conviction, they are not thinking, ew, this girl is selling to me. They are thinking, oh, this girl can help me.

Now, maybe they're not in the financial place to buy it today or this second, or maybe they have a thought, or maybe they needed to go look at their money. Maybe they don't check out the same moment, but what I need you to know is when you are selling, your people who are your dream clients, the people who are going to buy are not grossed out. They're not icked out. They're not like judging you.

They are seeing you sell and thinking, wow, she can help.
