What is thought leadership content and how to use it to attract clients

Thought leadership content is content that both EDUCATES & invites your audience to move differently. 

If you're JUST educating, you're going to have people see you as a resource but not buy. 

If you're JUST telling people to move differently, they don't know why they need to move differently & likely won't buy either. 

Thought leadership content is the backbone of my work & is exactly what's helped me create nearly $1M in lifetime sales in the past 4 years. 

Here's exactly how to get started --

It's these 4 questions: 

What do they desire?

What have they tried to get it?

Why didn't that work?

Why WILL working with me?

That's it.  It gets to be this simple. With every offer, I go through this.  Anytime I feel stuck around creating content, I go through this.  This is the backbone of my sales ecosystem. 

The biggest place I see people get stuck is with desire.  Because 99% of the content I look at for my clients gets muddled right there. Your dream client's desire isn't what you do.  What you do is the HOW.  But they don't desire the how.  

Examples: 

From: Build a unique marketing strategy with these three steps...

To: Have absolute peace that what you're doing is actually working 

 From: Set up systems & processes to stay organized in your business 

To: Double your income by finally feeling supported to sign way more clients

From: Align your business with your true self

To: You will stop resenting your business when it's actually your business & not your coach's coach's coach's business

Your confusing what you're offering with what they desire.  When you sell their desire to them, they're in.  When you sell the how, they ask questions. If you don't know what they want, you've got work to do. Either do some market research, if you're a coach maybe dig through your old journals & see how you were feeling, if you've had clients in the past go back through sales convos/ inquiry forms & see why they hired you, but you have to know this info.  It's essential. 

Okay, go map out exactly what it is your people desire & follow the rest of the questions.  This is how I've used thought leadership content to attract clients on repeat.
